As with every year, Apple today confirmed that the iTunes Connect to be closed from 22 to 29 december for the holidays.

This means that, this week, developers will not be able to send new apps or updates for approval. The App Store remains on the air, fully functional, but without news. Other iTunes Connect features will also continue to work.

In the same post, Apple recalled figures released at its last financial results conference: the App Store recently surpassed the 100 billion cumulative downloads, its revenue grew 25% in one year and the number of paying customers rose 18%, a new historical record.
