Developer shows heavy games like GTA V and DiRT Rally “running” on the new Apple TV

If you were already excited about the possibility of a MAME emulator on the new Apple TV, make sure you are seated now.

The same developer, Kevin Smith, has now managed to make the open source project Moonlight (an iOS implementation of the NVIDIA GameStream protocol) work on tvOS.

In the following videos, he shows how to play Grand Theft Auto V and DiRT Rally on the new Apple TV:

The games are running on a PC with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 SLI, being transmitted locally via Ethernet cable to Apple TV. For a first and quick implementation, the result is fantastic.
