Demolition company blames Google Maps for error

A demolition company in Texas (USA) is blaming Google Maps for providing the wrong home address, which led the team to destroy a family home nearby.

Workers were supposed to tear down a house devastated by the hurricane, but Google Maps pointed to a different house that was one block from the original destination.

Google declined to make a statement about the incident, but did make a correction to the map to display the correct address.
