Check out the definitive edition of Dead Island that contains the remastered games: Dead Island, Dead Island: Riptide and the bonus: Dead Island Retro Revenge.
Who never wanted to go to a paradise island? And kill zombies? How about bringing the two together? This is the proposal of the game already known: Dead Island. The game is a survival horror with RPG elements that was released in 2011 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was developed by the Polish company Techland (Call of Juarez, Dying Light) and published by Deep Silver (Homefront: The Revolution, Metro Redux, Saints Row, Mighty No. 9).
And because sunning is good and killing zombies too, Dead Island won its sequel in 2013 with Dead Island: Riptide also developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PCs.
And it all got even better with the remastered games, improved and compatible with the graphics of the new generation:
Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide (including all previously released download content) arrive on the new generation Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles for the first time. And as if fans who buy the Definitive Collection will still have a bonus game: Dead Island Retro Revenge.
Dead Island Retro Revenge promises to be a 2D classic, infinite side-scrolling sliding action, its main features are:
- retro look;
- weapon-based combat;
- leadborads, achievements and a lot of depth;
- 16 bits;
- mechanics that include power-ups, super-attacks and combo systems.
Dead Island Definitive Collection will be available in stores and digitally for the suggested price of $ 39.99 as of May 31, 2016 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Playing (or replaying) Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide is certainly a good preparation for Dead Island 2 that could be released in December of that year. And do you like this type of game? Have you played?
