Deezer lana Songcatcher function to recognize music on iPhone | Players

Deezer announced on Tuesday (9) SongCatcher, a feature that helps to remember the name of a song that is playing around. By tapping a button on the app, the phone will listen to the audio and send the cloud data to identify if the song is among the 56 million tracks in the streaming app's collection. If so, information such as song name, artist, and album will appear on screen within seconds just as with Shazam.

The feature came under trial in late 2017 and reached all Android users in April 2018. This time, the feature is part of the latest free iPhone app update (iOS).
