The Ministry of Finance has put forward a new service online which allows taxpayers with tax debts to consult their processes and pay the amounts in execution via the Internet.
The service online, available on the same site that allows taxpayers to submit their income statements, also facilitates the payment of fines for tax infringement. In both cases the taxpayer can make the payment online or do it through the ATM, after consulting the Internet.
The availability of this service aims to facilitate the settlement of debt situations with the State, avoiding the displacement of taxpayers to physical counters, which until now had exclusive competence to resolve these types of issues.
