The highlight of the day is the Photo-Recipes, developed by ditter.projektagentur, which is nothing more than a private home cooking course. The whole process richly illustrated on the screen of your iGadget!
Each recipe starts with a photograph of all the ingredients that will be used in the making. This way, you can immediately see if you have all the ingredients needed to prepare the recipe.
Each step, short and direct, is explained in a clear and easy to understand way. Photographs are a great help for both novice and experienced cooks, who will then be able to remember the little details that are easily overlooked. Each recipe ends with a photograph of the finished dish, complemented with some presentation suggestions.
The basic version of the application includes 84 recipes, divided into four topics: Easy and quick (60 recipes), Italian (15 recipes), Asian (5 recipes) and Bread and pastry (4 recipes). Through integrated purchases, you can increase your library to a total of 240 recipes (that is, 60 recipes per chapter).
Your own recipes can be added to the app, in addition to certain types of cuisine being available as an in-app purchase. The list of ingredients can be shared by email, your favorite dishes can be added to a list of favorites and, if you have a special dish that you want to register in the app, it is also possible.
The big downside is in the long run without app updates, including the absence of support for the future iOS 11. An Apple TV version of the app would also be a good one, in my opinion.
