Google has announced that the Daydream platform will support a new category of standalone virtual reality devices.
These new devices will be based on the same technology as smartphones, but will offer an even more “easy and comfortable” experience using WorldSense technology *.

According to specialized media, the devices will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with high-performance sensors and custom tracking cameras.
The company also said that the Galaxy S8 and S8 + will receive Daydream through a software update, and the next flagship phone from LG (to be released in the second half of the year) will have full Daydream support.
