Dave Bautista joins Season 2 of “See”

The news of Apple TV + they may have stopped recently, but that doesn’t mean the company is hanging around. As we know, Apple will launch new productions monthly and, in addition, the second seasons of the series that were part of the launch of the service are already in development.

Among the series that will perpetuate is fiction «See», which will star in a new talent; in addition, we will see what the company has planned for the promotion of its first comedy, «Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet».

The cast of «See» (Apple’s fictional series set in a future time, where almost all humans are blind) has just gained a new name: the actor Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) signed the contract to star in the second season of production, according to a report by deadline.

Bautista will star in the series alongside Alfre Woodard and Jason Momoa, who starred in the first season. In addition to participating in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Bautista is also known for his time in World Wrestling Federation (WWE) in the early 2000s. He also participated in films such as «Riddick» and «Blade Runner 2049»but «See» it will be your first big role on the small screen.

Besides «See», Apple renewed several other titles, including, «For All Mankind», «Dickinson» and «The Morning Show». There is still no information on when the second season of each of them will debut.

«Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet» at PAX South

Last week, we reported that Apple could showcase the new production «Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet» during the last day of the Television Critics Association, a television event that will run until January 19th.

The company, however, decided to incorporate the theme of the production (which talks about creating a game) to present it, say, in a more characteristic event. I speak of PAX South, a gaming convention that will take place on Friday (1/17) in San Antonio, Texas (United States).

Apple will have a booth at the event to publicize the production, which was created by Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”). McElhenney will also star in the series alongside F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Ashly Burch and Jessie Ennis.

All episodes of the first season of “Mythic Quest”Will be released simultaneously on February 7.

Lee Eisenberg contract

Apple signed a multiannual contract with the co-creator, executive producer and coshowrunner of the series «Little America», Lee Eisenberg. The information is Variety.

The partnership was signed after Eisenberg launched a new production company, Piece of Work Entertainment, which in turn will be in charge of creating exclusive projects for Apple TV +.

Eisenberg is one of several film industry professionals who signed an agreement with Apple. More precisely, the company has similar contracts with Alfonso Cuaron, Jon Chu, Justin Lin and Jason Katims.

«Little America» accompanies immigrants going to the USA and highlights their stories. The series, which opens this Friday (17/1), is produced by Eisenberg, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon.
