Dart, a new structured web programming language from Google

The Chromium project team today announced a preview of Dart, a programming language created by Google and aimed especially at building applications on the web. In other words, an alternative to JavaScript.

According to the company, Dart was designed to structure a more flexible language, allowing programmers to learn more easily and ensure that their creations work in high performance on all modern browsers.

“Developed with the aim of simplicity, efficiency and scalability, the Dart language combines powerful features of a new language, with constructions of a familiar language in a clear and readable syntax,” explained Lars Bak, Software Engineer.

At the moment, however, no browser supports the technology, but Chrome should be the first to receive its implementation in the future. Soon we will have a more detailed article about Dart.
