Creativity votes in the fifth edition of the SAPO Publicidade Online Awards

Visitors to the SAPO portal have until August 29 to vote for the nine categories nominated for the most creative advertising campaign to be awarded the SAPO Users Award. The polls online for the SAPO Publicidade Online Awards are open and, in addition to the votes of the public, the best works also have the appraisals of a jury composed of professionals from the advertising sector and the Internet.

The fifth edition of the Awards presents some news in terms of readjusting categories in order to adapt the works to the market’s own evolution. Thus, the main novelties are centered on the Recognition Award, which aims to distinguish the agency and advertiser of the year and the Special Award for the Best Video Ad.

The 2005 edition was also marked by the largest influx ever of the number of entries for the reference Award in the scope of advertising and the Internet in Portugal. An increase that translates into «more than 67 percent of the number of agencies involved compared to the same year last year», meaning for that reason a wide variety of pieces registered, says the company in a statement.
