Now they have a special package for health professionals.
In a note sent to the media, the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition explains that the collaboration agreement was signed between the Digital Response Office COVID19, the Ministry of Health and the Telecommunications Operators: Altice, NOS, NOWO and Vodafone.
According to the information, the Covid-19 Digital Response Office had requested the support of Telecommunications Operators to find urgent solutions that would safeguard the consumption of electronic communications by SNS health professionals, and this ended up giving rise to this offer. .
Guarantee was granted to health professionals "who are responding directly to the public health crisis identified by the Central Administration of the Health System – ACSS", an extra ceiling of 10,000 minutes of voice for national fixed and mobile networks, 10,000 SMS for national mobile networks and 10 GB of data.
"These benefits will be associated with mobile phone service tariffs, which individually each SNS professional has subscribed to with their operator, for a period of 30 days and will be renewed on the first day of each month, as long as the pandemic continues", says the same communicated.
The professionals covered must register on the portalcovid19estamoson.gov.pt in order to benefit from this offer, after which ACAC provides operators with a list of the professionals covered.
It is recalled that the Digital Response Office to COVID-19 includes several government representatives, including from the Office of the Prime Minister, from the governmental areas of Digital Economy and Transition, Infrastructure and Housing, State Modernization and Public Administration and Education, but also from General of Health, Shared Services of the Ministry of Health, Agency for Administrative Modernization and Directorate-General for Education.
Altice, NOS, Vodafone and the APRITEL sector association are present on the telecommunications operators side.
Other companies such as AWS, CISCO, ESRI, Facebook, Google, Huawei, Microsofte Netflix are also represented, as well as entities from the Academy and representatives of the social / associative sector, such as VOST Portugal.
