According to the manufacturer, the vulnerability detected in the software it is considered critical in Windows 200, XP and Server 2003 and important in Vista.
Microsoft ensures that «this security update resolves a flaw in the kernel Windows, which could allow code execution if the affected system receives a remote procedure call «.
In the meantime, Microsoft Portugal has issued a statement recommending «testing and installing this security update as soon as possible, in order to help ensure that the systems are protected against attempts by criminal attacks».
