Coronavirus: “Today at Apple” sessions are canceled in San Francisco and Seattle

In addition to the recommendation for Apple employees to work from their homes, issued yesterday by CEO Tim Cook, the company today decided to cancel sessions of the Today at Apple in all of its San Francisco (California) and Seattle (Washignton).

Today at Apple sessions canceled

Cities are among the two most affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and therefore Apple is taking these steps to protect its employees and consumers as a whole.

According to an internal statement obtained by the MacRumors, it seems that the sessions will be suspended at least until the end of this month, more precisely until the 29th of March.

The stores themselves are still open, but with special cleaning measures in place.

Obviously, if the outbreak situation worsens in the US, it is quite possible that Apple will expand these determinations to other locations and perhaps even decide to close some stores completely, as has already been done in China, Italy and South Korea.
