Corel announced a price reduction on its Corel WordPerfect Office X3 suite. The initiative aims to encourage the use of the brand’s software and contribute to reducing the levels of software illegal in companies, presenting a cheaper alternative to the Microsoft package, the company says in a statement.
The target of Corel WordPerfect X3 is small and medium-sized companies, precisely one of the segments where studies show that there are higher rates of use of software illegal. The proposal to reduce the suite price by 85 percent remains until the end of June and will allow you to purchase the product for around 60 euros.
Along with the price reduction, Corel tries to make companies aware of the fact that the use of unlicensed software products is harmful since they are deprived of technical support, documentation and periodic updates, says Javier Fidalgo, Sales Manager at Corel for Portugal and Spain, cited in a statement.
Corel’s WordPerfect Office allows you to import and export documents from the productivity suite to PDF, while still being compatible with Microsoft’s Office. In version X3, it introduces an interface update and provides online new features.
The promotional sale of Corel WordPerfect Office X3 is an exclusive initiative for the national SME market carried out in partnership with Sector Zero.
