Conversion on Google Translate for Android

The Google Translate app for Android gained a new feature this Thursday that allows you to carry out conversations between 14 different languages, including support for the Brazilian Portuguese.

Available in alpha mode, the conversational technology created by Google tries to break down the barriers of communication by offering a fast way for you to understand and chat anywhere in the world.

The company, however, says that background noise and regional accents can affect accuracy, but that its quality should improve as people use the product more.

Unlike what has been published in the media in general, Portuguese was already one of the languages supported by the product, only the conversion functionality was limited to English and Spanish.
