Controversy in sight: Gawker will pay up to $ 100,000 to anyone who gives evidence of iTablet

Gawker Media announced today through its blog Valleywag to pay $ 100,000 for evidence of iTablet's existence.

More specifically, the initiative promises to:

  • $ 10,000 for legitimate photos;
  • $ 20,000 for a video of one being used;
  • $ 50,000 for photos or videos of Steve Jobs using one;
  • $ 100,000 if you can play with one for an hour.

The award will be given as soon as Steve Jobs announces the tablet and the evidence is likely to be confirmed on the next 27th. That is, of course, if no major problems land in Gawker's hands; it smells like something very, very brazen, immoral and, above all, illegal.
