The Cupertino giant continues to invest in content for the Apple TV + and recently, the service has gained a new talent to drive the creation of new series / films, as we will see below.
In addition, the company released trailers, sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes videos of some popular and recently released productions, such as «Trying» and «Defending Jacob».

Contract with Annie Weisman
Earlier this year, we commented on some details of the upcoming Apple TV + drama series, «Physical»starring Rose Byrne (“Suddenly a Family”) and produced by Annie Weisman («A Great Boy»).
Now, a report from the deadline points out that Weisman signed a two-year contract with Apple to produce content exclusively, starting with the drama that takes place in the 1980s.
Before closing the deal with Apple, Weisman produced content for Universal. Besides “Desperate Housewives”, she also worked on «Almost Family», «The Path», «Suburgatory» and “About a Boy”.
The producer also joins other industry giants who have signed deals with Apple, including Jason Katims, Alfonso Cuaron, Justin Lin, Lee Eisenberg, Monica Beletsky, Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Horgan, Simon Kinberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kerry Ehrin.

The truth is out there, but the mystery is far from over.
So far, the Apple TV + children’s series («Ghostwriter», «Helpsters» and «Snoopy in Space») are the only titles that have more than ten episodes in the first season, all of which are already available.
Trailer of «Trying»
Apple also released a new trailer for the recently released comedy «Trying», starring Rafe Spall and Esther Smith.
All Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) want is a baby – but it’s the one thing they just can’t have. How are they going to fill the next 50 years if they can’t start a family? After discarding any other option, Nikki and Jason decide to adopt and are faced with a world of new and perplexing challenges. With dysfunctional friends, a crazy family and chaotic life, does the adoption board agree that they are ready to be parents?
The series is co-starring Imelda Staunton, Ophelia Lovibond and BAFTA winner Oliver Chris, and written by Andy Wolton. All episodes of the first season are now available on Apple TV +.

The drama «Defending Jacob» (“In Defense of Jacob”), starring Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery and Jaeden Martell, also won a new behind-the-scenes video of the production:

«Defending Jacob» is now available on Apple TV +. The new episodes of the first season are released weekly, on Fridays.

The new educational video with the characters of the children’s series «Helpsters» (from the creators of “Vila Sésamo”) stars singer Kassi Ashton and teaches children how to keep cool with a popsicle:
