THE Contacts, native iOS application, fulfills its function relatively satisfactorily: you open the application and… well, there are your contacts. For those who need a little more control over this, however, the creation of the Apple can be lacking.
For that, there are alternatives – and the most recent one was created by the developer Adilson Tavares, student at the Apple Developer Academy in Curitiba (PR). This is the Contacts Wallet:
The idea of the application is to give the user more power when organizing and managing their own contacts. This is done in several ways: to start the conversation, the app has a selection feature which allows you to delete or share several contacts at once. It is also possible to select several records from your calendar and simultaneously send SMS, email or WhatsApp messages to all of them.
In addition, Contacts Wallet comes with a smart cleaning feature – it is able to detect duplicate or no data contacts so you can quickly edit, unify or delete them. It is also possible to create groups of contacts for a simpler location: you can divide the records, for example, into «family», «friends», «work», «college» and whatever is most convenient.
Finally, the app brings special themes to be customized any way you want – in addition to the traditional light and dark themes, there are other color schemes more differences for those who prefer something more unique. It is worth noting that all of your data is processed on the device itself, so there is no sending of information to external servers.
Contacts Wallet is available for free on the App Store, but with limited resources; to unlock the complete kit, you need to subscribe premium, in R $ 4 per week or R $ 19 per year – these prices, it is worth remembering, are part of the #FiqueEmCasa promotion to help people in social isolation and may soon increase.
You can also unlock the app’s features completely with a one-time purchase of R $ 55.
