Consumer Reports survey says Apple desktops are the most trusted

Two iMacs

The latest data from reader research on frequency of repair and serious desktop problems is ready, and again Apple was the most trusted brand. ()

We asked readers of Consumer Reports, who bought 8,007 desktops from 2009 to the first half of 2012, about their experiences and determined the percentage of models for each brand that were repaired or had a serious problem.

According to the survey, Apple's percentage was 7%, followed by Hewlett-Packard (10%), Dell (11%) and Gateway (13%). Let's face it, this didn't even need research. (Consumer Reports)
