At a time when 3D is what connects (notwithstanding that Nintendo has already promised this as the big news of the next generation of DS), designer Tai Chiem published a MacBook 3D concept that could be used with one of those glasses that we borrow in movie theaters.
Apple itself has already registered some patents / inventions in relation to three-dimensional interfaces, that is, quite capable of seeing something similar in the near future. Check out some of them in the following links: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
The Tai concept shows a MacBook with very curved lines, glass trackpad with Cover Flow effect for applications, 16: 9 widescreen screens and stereoscopic iSight.
