The National Public Procurement Agency – ANCP – closed two new framework agreements for the supply of computer equipment and the provision of car insurance services.
In the case of computer equipment, and taking into account the average annual quantities of equipment purchased by the State, savings of 12 million euros are estimated annually compared to the prices stipulated in the previous public supply contract.
All conditions can be improved, as well as the expected savings, through consultation with the co-contracting parties to the framework agreement, since all proposals must match or be of lower value than those presented in the public tenders carried out.
It should be remembered that within a year, ANCP has already closed six framework agreements. The areas covered are land mobile service, road fuels, paper and stationery, copy and printing and now computer equipment and car insurance.
For April, new framework agreements for the area of software, vehicles, energy, hygiene and cleaning and electronic public procurement platforms.
According to ANCP, the new agreements will cover around 80 percent of cross-cutting public expenditure, with a positive impact on the reduction and rationalization of public expenditure. In total, savings of 150 million euros are expected.
