Competition for RNG in Alentejo and Algarve advances

يبدأ Trás-os-Montes العمل على مجموعات RNG

Mário Lino, minister of public works, transport and communications, had already said that by the end of the month all six tenders foreseen for the regions were advancing, where it is considered that high-speed Internet services will take time to arrive by the operators.

Tomorrow two more land on the ground, this time for the Algarve and Alentejo, looking for proposals from the industry, which will be supported in their development with community funds, if they prove to be the best alternative to take broadband connections with more than 30 Mbps to the regions concerned.

The first of these competitions was launched in May and aimed at the central region of the country. The procedures for the North, Azores and Madeira regions are now lacking in order to complete the range of procedures announced by the government. In total of the six competitions, 136 municipalities are involved.

The procedures for the Algarve and Alentejo are presented tomorrow by the minister of public works, transport and communications at Alandroal castle.

Editorial note: The news was corrected in the assignment to community funds.
