Colorful Music and Stories Sticker: See Instagram News for June | Social networks

Filters for reposts and share music in Stories were the main subject of June on Instagram. Over the course of the month, social networking has also enabled you to save content for later use and make the profile colorful. In the same period, it also began to change the design of the user's page, facilitated the recovery of hacked account and finally released the music sticker in Brazil. Here's a summary of what's new in the photo and video app for the past month.

A tip that caught the dnetc reader's attention shows that it is possible to use filters differently when applying them to reposts and publications that come from Spotify: by applying the effect to this type of content, the post gets a colored frame. The hidden function allows you to increment posts in a way that few people know, highlighting the surroundings of a post embedded elsewhere in other posts, filters always change the whole look.

2. LGBTQ + Pride on Instagram

In June, the social network released commemorative functions alluding to the pride LGBTQ + month. The app gained a colorful icon and rainbow effect in the circles of the featured photo in the Stories – to activate, just use subject-related hashtags like #pride (# pride), #lgbt, #bornperfect ("perfect born" ") and #equalitymatters (" equality matters ").

The app has also permanently made more gender options available in the profile. From just "masculine", "feminine" or "unspecified", the alternatives become "masculine", "feminine" and "prefer not to say", in addition to a field in which the user can type the gender with which to identify.

3. Account Recovery Made Easy

Instagram announced last month that it will start facilitating the recovery of hacked accounts. Invalid victims may log in using a registered phone number or email: even without the profile password, a new temporary code will be used to re-enter the account. Another change is in the handling of user names, which will become blocked longer after they have been released by someone.

The expectation is that the news will allow the user himself to take action against hackers, without relying on social network support measures to reset the password or restore the original profile name. However, there is still no provision for resources to be released for all.

4. Photos saved in Recent

Instagram has gained a feature that avoids losing photos taken with the Stories camera. By swiping sideways on the home screen and shooting, the app will save all photos taken, even when they are discarded. Later, clicks become available in a new section called Recent: just swipe up in Stories to see the captured images and reuse in new posts. The function is different from the rescue function that already existed in the social network, since it does not require the user to press a button to store the content on his own when taking a photo and returning, the material is not lost.

5. Posts with music in Brazil

At the end of the month, Instagram finally launched the sticker Music in Brazil. The feature lets you put a soundtrack and ask for music recommendations on Stories posts and had been released in June 2018, but was restricted to other countries. Until then, Brazilians could only listen to songs added by foreign profiles or enjoy the feature in their own posts abroad. The news came with a number of changes also for Facebook: in addition to the same music sticker, the social network gained lives with karaok-style voice acting and the ability to add a link to your favorite track on your profile.
