Collector sells Apple I on eBay for $ 18,000

A few weeks ago, we talked about an Apple I that was going to auction on eBay. For the sales estimate of US $ 14-16 thousand was exceeded: the historic computer was snapped up by US $ 18 thousand.

According to a note on the product page made by Monroe Postman, its former owner, the Apple I in question is possibly not even functional although an electronics expert could solve the case, if the problem is not too complicated. On the other hand, the unit itself one of a kind: your plaque to me was signed by Steve “Woz” Wozniak his father, so to speak.

Considering the amount of crazy wealthy collectors out there, until I didn't find the final bid there too high.
