Attributed to the projects and performances that most contribute to innovation in the Information and Communication Technologies sector, the APDC / Siemens Innovation Award was yesterday delivered at Alfragide, distinguishing COLLAB, responsible for the One Contact project.
The winning solution is based on the evolution of communications, gathering on a single platform, aimed at contac centers multimedia in IP environment, all customer relationship channels.
The Innovation Award was disputed with two other finalists, namely, the CTT’s Brand of the Day Electronic project and the solution for Optimizing diversity and distribution of wiring configurations for the automotive industry, from the University of Aveiro.
The selection of the winner was the responsibility of a jury made up of several personalities representing entities such as Siemens, APDC, Expresso newspaper, Banco EspĂrito Santo, Foundation for National Scientific Computing, ANACOM, Portugal Telecom, Vodafone, among others. The value of this prize was fixed at 30 thousand euros.
For António Pereira, Director of Innovation at Siemens Networks, the choice comes to demonstrate «that our country has resources to foster innovation and that there are already successful examples of this bet».
