CNCS opens CyberSecurityChallengePT for those who want to know everything about security

The National Center for Cybersecurity (CNCS) will develop the CyberSecurityChallengePT2020 in cooperation with partners in education, academia and the cybersecurity community, continuing the initiative of ENISA (European Agency for Network and Information Security).

The idea is part of the goals of INCoDe.2030 and was announced during the conference that took place last week, in Porto, aiming to stimulate and reinforce digital literacy and competences in all teaching cycles.

OCyberSecurityChallengePT 2020 will select a team of 10 Portuguese students to represent Portugal at the European Cyber ​​Security Challenge 2020 (ECSC), which takes place between the 3rd and 7th of November, in Vienna, Austria.

This is an annual European event that brings together young talents from all over Europe to compete in cybersecurity in a fairplay environment. Over 5 days, participants are challenged to solve tasks related to computer security, from web security, mobile device security, encryption puzzles, reverse engineering and forensic analysis.
