Clicker proposes to be Netflix's best player for macOS

If there is one thing that is sorely missed in the Mac world, it's dedicated apps like the ones we have for mobile, including for example internet banking, games and streaming of audio / video. Apple's “Project Marzipan” should help in this regard, but until it arrives, how about a good alternative for Apple subscribers. Netflix?

Meet Clicker for Netflix, an app that claims to be the best Netflix player for macOS.

Clicker for Netflix

With it, we no longer need to use a browser to watch Netflix content from the Mac. We get a dedicated Dock icon in a fully immersive environment that also works in full mode. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and allows you to stop and continue to consume movies / series at your convenience.

Clicker comes with a few extra cards up its sleeve, including MacBook Pro Touch Bar playback control, an option to prevent trailers from playing automatically, skipping intros automatically, starting the next series episode automatically, quick access through the macOS menu bar, among others.

It's no miracle, though: Playback on Mac is still limited to Full HD 1080p resolution. To date, Netflix does not support 4K in this environment.

Since this is a standalone project (not something officially Netflix), there is a cost involved: Clicker comes out for $ 5, but whoever uses launchpromo19 launch code in the cart pays only $ 3 (for a limited time, launch promotion).
