According to the blog Lifehacker, Google Chrome was the only browser to survive the first day of attacks in the Pwn2Own competition that challenges security experts to exploit vulnerabilities in internet browsers.
While browsers Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer were able to check the dark side of their security holes in a few seconds, Chrome’s sandbox technology and its security layer next to the operating system made it difficult to take any action that could exploit its flaws.
