Chrome overtakes Firefox and becomes the second most used browser in Brazil

According to data from the StatCounter, Google Chrome overtook Firefox in May and became the second most used browser in Brazil.

“Chrome was used by 26.83% of Brazilian Internet users in May, while Firefox had 26.08% of users – a small difference of 0.75%,” said the data analysis company.

First, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer remains the leader with 45.79%, but its market share has been reduced since the launch of Chrome in 2008.
