Chrome gets Windows 10 Timeline support; know how to activate and use | Browsers

The Windows 10 Timeline feature is now available in Chrome. The feature syncs history and lets you continue on your PC what you were doing on any other computer with Google's browser. The function was unique to Microsoft Edge, but can be used in Chrome through Microsoft's extensive Web Activities. In the following tutorial, check out how to install and configure the plugin. The procedure was performed on the browser version for macOS, but the tips also apply to users of Windows PCs.

Step 1. Go to the extensive Web Activities download page. Click on "Use in Chrome" and confirm the installation under "Add extension";

Step 2. Once installed, the extension icon will be added to the upper right corner of your browser window. Click on it and on the menu that appears, click on "Sign in";

Step 3. Enter your email and password to log in to your Microsoft account. Remember to use the same one that is set up in Windows 10;

Step 4. Finally, click "Yes" to allow the extension to access your account data.

Ready! From now on, all sites opened by Chrome will appear on your Timeline and will sync with other Windows 10 PCs connected to your account.
