Chrome becomes the most used browser in the world

According to data from StatCounter, Chrome overtook Internet Explorer on May 14, consolidating Google's browser as the most used in the world.

In addition to desktops, the Mountain View giant has also celebrated another achievement: data from StatCounter shows that Android's native browser is close to beating Opera, now the most popular mobile browser.

Launched in 2008, Chrome the youngest of the existing browsers. Born with a direct focus on speed and simplified visuals, the browser was responsible for completely changing the browser segment.
