As promised, the Pangu Team today released the tool jailbreak (still quite preliminary) for the new Apple TV.
As they reported, it is possible to unlock the new set-top box as long as it is running tvOS 9.0 / 9.0.1 (that is, it is not possible to run the jailbreak in the new version of the system released by Ma this week).
In practice, the jailbreak for fourth generation Apple TV allows developers to port their tweaks and apps for the new gadget, further expanding the existing offering.
