If this is new here, outside the shared or dockless bikes, they have been around for a long time. In China they arrived in 2016 and changed the daily lives of many people.
It is estimated that over 16 million shared bicycles circulated there at the height of fashion. As market competition grew, companies filled the streets with bikes and this created a problem.
