Check out the unboxing, guts and benchmarks of the new 20-inch iMac

Nothing like having your base of operations out there, do you agree? One day after the launch of the new Apple desktops and we already have pictures of the Mac mini and now also the iMac being unpacked, disassembled and put to benchmark tests.

With the same price as the old 20-inch models, I would love to get my hands on this new 20-inch iMac (preferably not a 24-inch).

On the outside, nothing new: he remains as wonderful as ever. The “Wow! Is the CPU that? ” it's still going on and I don't believe it will ever change. In my humble opinion, Apple has always known what to do in this area.

Attention to the new keyboard that comes with the new models. Incidentally, can someone explain to me what Apple has in mind with this change? When I sent the email asking for explanations about the keys Home, End, Page Up and Page DownI didn't think they were going to get rid of them. They get in the way a little bit, I know. But where's my numeric keypad ?!

As noted during disassembly, the processor is attached by a socket, which in theory means that it can be removed for future upgrade. However, a sticker warns us that interfering with the CPU's operation may violate the product warranty. Below is the logic board with the CMOS memory slots, processor and battery.

Well, now cross your fingers and hope that the prices here do not change drastically (haha!).
