THE DJI Mavic Mini, one of the manufacturer's most popular drones, received a firmware update yesterday, November 10, which brings the system version to 01.00.2000. This update brings some enhancements and optimizations as well as expanded support for the "quick shots" feature. Check out the list of news below:

But to better understand the impact of this update on the actual drone flight experience, there's nothing better than following a video detailing the news. And that's exactly what Billy Kyle did on his YouTube channel:
Kyle highly praised the update, especially in the light part of the photos, which he considers to "pop" a lot in the old version of the firmware. He points out improvements in this regard, but comments that he could not see major changes in the video part, although DJI promised a greater "smoothness" in filming.

This is the first firmware update that Mavic Mini receives and should happen automatically. The drone app will display a notification in the corner and just press it and follow the instructions. If it does not, you can also search for the update manually in the application settings. This is an irreversible process, after updating d to go back to the previous version of the firmware. Kyle explains in the video that he even tried to do this to show some direct comparative photos, but installing the previous firmware didn't allow him to take off with the drone anymore.
