This is an animation for adults of the famous franchise. The video posted uncensored "Red Band" and was announced during the Mortal Kombat tournament last week.
Mortal Kombat trailer manages to deliver the same level of extreme violence as games
In the animation trailer, despite not having such elaborate art, it managed to deliver the same level of extreme violence seen in the series games. There are scenes of severed limbs, torn, broken bones, crushed, and very, very blood.

The story of Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpions Revenge, according to the synopsis, follows the following storyline:
"After his family's cruel massacre by the Sub-Zero mercenary, Hanzo Hasashi exiled to the tortuous Netherrealm, there, in exchange for his serving the sinister Quan Chi, he has a chance to avenge his family – and resurrects as Scorpion, a lost soul Back at Earthrealm, Lord Raiden has a team of elite warriors – Shaolin monk Liu Kang, Special Forces officer Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage actor – an unlikely group of heroes with a chance to save the world. To do this, they must defeat Shang Tsung's Outworld horde of gladiators and win the Mortal Kombat tournament. Get ready to witness the bone-crushing action in this new animated film Mortal Kombat Legends! "
