From its original version, with each new model, the camera (iSight) of the iPhone took a huge leap. Despite the improvement, this time it still seems to be untested, so we cannot say that the update was more discreet, incremental. But it was nevertheless interesting.

The 8 megapixels and the /2.4 aperture remain the same, however, a new lens system includes precise alignment, in addition to a synthetic sapphire cover, further protecting the device from being dropped or from our pockets. In low light environments, a new dynamic mode also helps to capture images. Macro and photos close-ups improved due to the new set.

The new A6 chip helps when taking images, making the process 40% faster than on the iPhone 4S. The chip also has an image signal processor (IPS, or image signal processor), improving the result of the photos.
The Panorama feature took time, but luckily it showed up. With it, we can shoot up to 240 degrees. The gyroscope, the A6 chip and the Cmera app work together to create a unique, high-resolution panoramic photo of up to 28 megapixels! It is worth mentioning that this feature will also reach the iPhone 4S, as soon as iOS 6 is released, the fifth generation iPod touch, another one that has the feature.

The front camera (FaceTime) finally became HD, capable of recording videos at up to 720p. Obviously, the experience in conducting a conference (via FaceTime, Skype or any other app / service) also improves, as long as the internet connection is decent.
