  • MacOS Sierra marks the arrival of a new file system called Apple File System (APFS). According to the company, it is a more flexible system that has all of Ma's products in mind (from Apple Watch to Mac Pro), optimized for flash / SSD storage and designed with encryption as a primary feature.
  • Apple reintroduced, in macOS Sierra, the ability to create and manage RAID volumes in Disk Utility. Many were disappointed by the withdrawal of this option on OS X El Capitan, so it was certainly good news.
  • The company has enhanced the macOS security system called Gatekeeper.
  • Developers can now use some iCloud features (CloudKit, iCloud Keychain, iCloud Drive, notifications push, MapKit, etc.) in your apps even if they are not distributed on the Mac App Store.

Soon, more! 😉
