Guilherme Rambo is back distilling interesting information about the iOS 13, future version of Apple’s mobile operating system to be presented at WWDC19.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian developer has already released precious information about the upcoming iOS, such as that it will come with Dark Mode and improvements in Mail, a new app that will bring together the features of Find My iPhone and Search My Friends, news for Siri and for augmented reality, among many other things.
How about seeing some of these news? Because Rambo managed to get his hands on some screenshots of the new system and shared them with the world!
Dark Mode
Below we see the Dark Mode in operation, which can be activated by the Settings or by the Control Center. On the home screen, the only noticeable change is the Dock, which adopts a slightly more… dark background – Rambo rightly thinks that Apple should include some wallpapers that work better in Dark Mode, valuing the new feature.
The Music app, in turn, shows a really black background, perfect for devices with OLED screens (iPhone X, XS and XS Max) – it can even help a little in terms of battery consumption, since these pixels are literally turned off.
When capturing a screen, instead of showing a gray background with the appropriate marking tools at the bottom, we have a more realistic representation of these tools. Also according to Rambo, the same interface was also redesigned on the iPad, which uses a rounded tray at the bottom of the screen to show these tools, and can even be dragged and positioned freely on the screen.
Sticky notes
Here we see the app Sticky notes redesigned (visual that will also reach macOS 10.15).
On the iPad, the new application will have a large sidebar with separations for «Today», «Scheduled», «Signaled» and «Everyone»; we’ll also have a search box and a collection of a user’s reminder lists. The app will use a new San Francisco Rounded font, introduced in iOS 12.2 (more precisely, in Wallet).
Search App
Rambo also showed the icon of the new app called Search (Find My), the result of the combination of Find My iPhone and Search My Friends.
The developer said that the app has been significantly improved on the iPad and brings all the features of both applications. In it, we have a large map that fills the entire screen of the device, with a small window in the corner listing your family and friends; in another tab, we have the devices themselves. When Dark Mode is on, the map looks exactly like the one you see on macOS Mojave with Dark Mode on.

The photo above (yes, this is a photo), shared by the designer Ben Geskin, shows the app Sticky notes redesigned in Dark Mode.
According to the designer, this is the app running on a version of iOS 13 beginning of March, then it is possible that some changes have occurred since then.
