Notifications on iOS 9

Starting with iOS 9, developers will finally be able to incorporate quick response fields into their apps by system notifications, something that was only being used by Apple in Messaging itself, until now.

In addition:

  • For those working with audio production, iOS 9 comes with full support for audio plugins (Audio Units) as noted by the 9to5Mac in apps like Apple's GarageBand itself.
  • As the AppleInsider, iOS 9 comes with improved support for external keyboards (Bluetooth). Using the shortcut Command + Tab, for example, it shows a similar interface for switching between apps similar to OS X.

Soon there will be more, of course.
