CES: Sony also introduces new 4K and 8K TVs with HomeKit and AirPlay 2

Following the example of competitor LG (which also announced that putting the Apple TV app on televisions from 2018 to 2018), Sony announced in this Consumer Electronics Show (CES) new models of Smart TVs 4K and 8K all equipped with HomeKit and AirPlay 2.

Compatibility was already expected, as Sony has been updating previous models of TVs with this support since the beginning of December. They will also win the Apple TV app, but we still don't know exactly when.

The new models of TVs from Sony have sizes ranging from 45 to 85 inches, with the top-of-the-line model (the Z8H 8K LED) only available in the larger version.

One of the good news is that this entire line of 2020 will be equipped with features that were previously only present in Sony MASTER models, including the Picture Processor X1, Triluminos screens, Sound-from-Picture Reality, special mode calibrated for Netflix and enhanced IMAX experience. There is also a new feature called Ambient Optimization, which optimizes the image and sound according to the environment where the TV is located.

Although Sony has presented the basic features of each model, for the time being it has not set launch dates nor stipulated suggested market prices. Very typical of CES.
