Solutions manufacturers for home automation also have a place in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019. Within the sector, a very interesting segment is that of lamps and smart light sources which support the protocol HomeKit; three manufacturers of this type of product presented news at the largest electronics fair in the world and we are going to take a look at them right now.
Philips Hue
Signify, a subsidiary of Philips responsible for its line of smart lamps Hue, announced the Outdoor Sensor, a sensor designed to be positioned outside your house or apartment to turn on the connected lights only when it detects movements at a distance of up to 12 meters.
The rain and weather resistant device also has a light sensor that prevents the lamps from being turned on during the day and operated with a long-lasting internal battery so you only need to choose the most convenient position for it and fix it there, without worrying about wiring. It hits the market in February next for $ 50.

THE Welcome Home Light ($ 110) illuminates only in white; The Discover Flood Light ($ 140) can illuminate across the color spectrum and the line Econic ($ 130 each) comes in ceiling, pedestal and other versions. All, of course, have integration with HomeKit and will also start to be sold in February.
Nanoleaf
Nanoleaf, in turn, updated its line of wall lights which already have options in triangular and square shapes with a new shape: o hexagon. The panels emit the entire light spectrum and are sensitive to touch, in addition to bringing support to HomeKit and integration with Google Assistant and Alexa.
To assemble your panel set, simply install the control hex, to which up to 500 (!) Additional hexes can be connected as long as you use one power source for each 25 panels. The hexagons can be fixed with stickers and are easily remountable, so you can create the most creative designs possible. The new panels will be available in the last quarter of 2019 only.
LaMetric
THE startup LaMetric is trying to follow in the footsteps of Nanoleaf with a line called Sky, composed of triangular panels that also allow a series of designs and combinations on your wall. The big difference here that LaMetric panels do not just illuminate: they can display information in real time, such as the weather forecast, the number of visitors to your website, your number of followers on Instagram, the current time and much more.
All the configuration done through an app for iOS or Android and the panels bring full integration with assistants from Apple, Google and Amazon at least for now, however, there is no integration with HomeKit. LaMetric Sky will be available in the second half of the year for prices not yet revealed.
