CES 2018: new case for MacBooks Pro from Incase has an internal battery to recharge your computer and / or mobile devices

I agree that, among several problems that we can point out in the new MacBooks Pro, the battery hardly one of them. In computers, the energy management and the design of the components allowed us to reach a level where, unless we are talking about extremely intense use, it is possible to go out with the machines in tow and use them in a whole day without worrying about the dreaded low battery warning.

Still, it is inevitable: at some point, the warning will appear. Either on a day when we forgot to charge the computer the night before, or on a time when the use was very intense and the poor battery could not handle it, or on the arrival of an intercontinental flight without plugs in your seat, the fact that, for these eventualities, the Incase thought of a very interesting solution.

Presented in Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018, a IconConnected Power Sleeve a cover for MacBooks Pro with a letter up its sleeve: an internal 14,000mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer, has the capacity to fully recharge the computer and with leftovers!

On the outside of the cover, we have a USB-C port for charging MacBooks Pro and another traditional USB-A port, which can be used to charge other devices such as your smartphone, for example. So that there is no possibility that you will be without the cable that supplies power to your machine, Incase also placed a small USB-C cable here in a special compartment for easy access at any time.

A detail: although this is technically possible, Incase does not recommend that users load their MacBooks Pro while computers are inside the covers due to concerns about overheating and possible impacts on the USB-C connection. The accessory's own design, with the ports located on the outside, is designed so that devices can be charged outside while they are still in use, for example.

The Incase IconConnected Power Sleeve will be available in versions for the 13 and 15 inch MacBooks Pro, and will cost $ 200 when it is launched, in the third quarter of this year. Would you buy?
