THE LaCie, brand “Premium” from manufacturer Seagate Technology, is taking advantage of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 this week to update two of its hard drive lines.

Now also equipped with USB-C connectivity (in addition to Thunderbolt 2/3), these HDDs will be available in 2TB, 4TB and 5TB versions, starting at US $ 250, as well as in a special with 1TB SSD providing speeds up to 510MB / s (30% more than the previous generation). It maintains this already traditional design with orange rubber cover.

These robust HDDs now use the Thunderbolt 3 interface (with three USB-C ports) and will come in capacities animalistic 6TB, 8TB and 10TB, with speeds of up to 240MB / s (7,200RPM BarraCuda HDDs, up to 10% faster than before) and starting at US $ 430.
