CES 2017: Kanex news includes gamepad, keychain with portable battery for Apple Watch and more

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 is taking place in Las Vegas (United States) and we are connected to the news that appear there. THE Kanex was one of the companies that announced some great news.

To the general delight of the nation (or at least the nation’s gamers), the company presented the public with GoPlay Sidekick, an MFi wireless controller, compatible with Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

THE gamepad connects via Bluetooth 4.0 and offers up to 20 hours of play. It is compatible with most games on the App Store that support the use of controls. In addition, the case used to store it also serves as stand for iPhones. It will be available for purchase in February for $ 60. Whoever wants to present me with it, I will not refuse (hoho). ?

Another novelty presented by Kanex was a line of chargers for Apple Watch. Just like the GoPower Watch Portable Battery ($ 100), announced at CES 2016 and launched in August, all the new options in the line GoPower work with the watch using magnetic induction charging technology.

THE GoPower Watch Stand ($ 80) is a magnetic charging cradle that has an extra USB port to charge other devices simultaneously. The GoPower Watch Mini ($ 60) is a (pretty) portable battery option for recharging your Apple Watch. It comes attached to a key ring and can recharge your watch with a full charge, releasing 1,000mAh. Both will be available in February this year.

But it didn’t end there! Kanex also announced that it will present at CES its new line of Thunderbolt 3 adapters to meet the need for the new MacBooks Pro.

The first option is an Thunderbolt 3.0 for eSATA, which also includes a USB 3.0 port and will soon be available for purchase for $ 130. THE Travel Dock ($ 150) helps connect a Thunderbolt 3 to two HDMI ports, one USB-A, one Gigabit Ethernet and one USB-C port for data transfer and charging. The new Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C cables achieve 40Gbps in transfer rate, which is enough to connect MBPs to the new LG UltraFine 4K and 5K monitors at 60Hz. The cables will have options of US $ 30 (50cm) and US $ 70 (2 meters).
