During the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is taking place there in Las Vegas (United States), Henge docks has announced some new products to make the new MacBooks Pro a little lighter.
THE Tethered Docking Station It was designed exactly for Ma's new professional notebooks, with its lack of "basic" ports. It provides the power required (85W) for charging the machine and adds three USB-A ports, two Mini DisplayPorts, one Gigabit Ethernet, one audio output, one SD card reader and, depending on the model, one Thunderbolt 3 (US). $ 325) or a USB-C ($ 200). As you can see in the picture, the product has a design that allows it to be detached from the MBP (like a normal dock) or under the machine as a stand /stand.
J a Vertical Docking Station ($ 150) allows the MacBook Pro to stay closed and stand up, charge and connect to other devices such as external displays via USB-C / Thunderbolt 3. It supports all two sizes of the new MacBooks Pro.
Lastly, the Horizontal Docking Station You can make your MBP more “stout” in both the physical and connector sense. It has several USB-A ports, one Gigabit Ethernet, among others, totaling 13 ports! Prices per model (MBP size) range from $ 500 to $ 530.
In addition to the products, the company also announced a partnership with Apple and now offers several packages (bundles) many different. One already offers the docks along with the new MacBook Pro; another package includes Magic Trackpad 2, Magic Keyboard and Henge's own Click 2 product. Packages can be assembled on the site itself by selecting the option you wish to include.
