Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock

CES 2017: Elgato announces its Thunderbolt 3 Dock, with support for up to two 4K monitors [atualizado]

Just yesterday we highlighted here the OWC DEC, a different dock for the new MacBooks Pro. Today, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, the Elgato presented something more traditional – similar to the Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD, by Belkin, and the Thunderbolt 3 Dock, also by OWC.

Elgato’s Thunderbolt 3 Dock already supports up to two monitors with 4K resolution (or a 5K) at 60Hz right away via its rear USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 ports.

In addition to these two, it offers on the front a USB-A 3.0 next to the audio input / output (3.5mm), and on the rear a Gigabit Ethernet, plus two USB-A 3.0 and a DisplayPort 1.2.

The product will hit the market later this month, costing $ 300. But don’t worry: this value already includes, in the box, a 50cm Thunderbolt 3 cable. ?
