CES 2017: AirBar Makes 13.3 ″ MacBook Air Touch Screen

Apple does not and affirms with all the letters that it does not intend to make a Mac with touchscreen. For that, she created the iPad.

This strategy of the company, however, does not please everyone. And many may prefer to stay on the Mac rather than go for a competing solution as a Surface of Life. For these, Neonode created the Airbar which is being released in version for 13.3 ″ MacBooks Air at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

AirBar on MacBook Air

The product is a metal bar that you position below the MacBook Air screen and then plugs into a USB port. And so, like magic, the laptop screen becomes touch sensitive.

Obviously, those who opt for this solution will have to face the experience of using an operating system (macOS) with their fingers that was not originally designed for such. Still, there may be those who like it.

AirBar for MacBook Air will understand why they chose it, and not the 12-inch MacBook or MacBook Pro (but this is just the first Neonode model for the Apple line) to hit the international market in March, costing $ 100.
