Caixa Internet Banking working on Linux

For some unknown reason the feature stopped working in the last months of 2015 and only started working now, this has forced many people to use Java again to access their accounts, view their statements, etc. I am here to tell you that fortunately the software has returned to work, and now or to enter the Caixa website, if it detects that "warsaw" is not installed, it offers the customer a .deb format installer which can be easily installed by double clicking. , bringing the compatibility of the service with any Linux distro that uses it.

To make sure everything was "OK" I tested access to the Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Chromium website and also the Browser application that Ubuntu 14.04 brings with you, fortunately access was smooth in all cases.

Hopefully this time the system will go live longer and that Caixa will also create packages for other Linux-based operating systems, as people using .rpm (Fedora, openSUSE, Mageia, etc.) have run out of a native package.

Special thanks go to Leo Silva, who still noticed last Saturday the return of the appeal.

See you next time!
